200 Objection Answers - The Best Answers and Comebacks for Common Sales Objections to Close Deals
Hi Everyone,
The most costly mistake in sales and advertising that anyone can make is not doing research on the best ways to answer sales objections. Some people don’t even have a simple comeback prepared for the most simple objections like ”I’d like to think about it”. Like any other profession, you need to study and take it seriously…it’s not a hobby, it’s about making money! Here’s an example of a nice closing line you can use…
“Let me ask you this, Jack… Now that you know everything there is to know about this, what’s the absolute worst thing that could happen if you went ahead with this offer today?”
Now…here’s the real test. Do you have exact answers to these objections?…
I’m not interested, I’m just too busy right now, Just fax me some info and I’ll keep it on file, The price is too high, or I don’t have the budget, You are just trying to sell me, You’ll be wasting your time if you pitch me, We’re currently using someone else and we’re happy, We already have more business than we can handle, I can get it cheaper somewhere else, I need to talk to my partner, boss, wife, etc., I need to wait on this, or I need to think about it, What you have does not work for us, We’ve been burned in the past, I am feeling too much sales pressure, I am not familiar with your company, do you have any references I can check?, I’m not sure if what you have will work, is there a guarantee? What you have is useless and waste of money
Did you pass the test? If you didn’t have an instant powerful sales comeback to all of those objections above rolling off your tounge without a second thought… you’re in ’sales’ trouble. Let me throw you a lifeline right now, read on…
If you aren’t making enough money right now in return for the amount of work you’re putting in to selling outdoor advertising space, then you need to brush up right away on your techniques. Suggestion: Why not dedicate just 30 minutes (or more) per day to learn how to close sales and answer objections? What would happen to a doctor or accountant if they didn’t study…they’d be out of business very quickly right? It’s the same for you and the sales business… no sales study = no money. The good news is that if you can learn how to close deals easily you’ll make more money than both a doctor and accountant put together!
One really easy part about sales is the fact that all the objections you’ll get are generally the same… the only tweak is that the potential buyer may say the objection differently, but it has the same meaning most of the time. Sales can actually get so easy, that you know exactly what objection is going to be coming before they even say it! As long as what you’re selling is honest, ethical and is of value to the client, you’re in the box seat to make more money then most people!
