Hi Dean,
That was good practical info in the book, thanks for sending it.
My wife is going to use the your lead generation system…she is always on the road! Do you think website or phone number is best to display?
Thanks, and I look forward to seeing this blog build!

Hi Everyone,
This email goes out to those who has a copy of my manual.
I have written this message just for you this morning, so take
2 minutes now to read it…hopefully you will get the
message behind it.
Let me get right to the point here.
I AM SHOCKED AT THE LACK OF INPUT ON THE FORUM
FROM MOST OF YOU!
This can only come down to a few reasons why you wouldn’t use it:
1) You have a thriving business and know everything there is to know
2) You aren’t really that motivated to make money with this business
3) Your a ‘taker’ and not a ‘giver’.
4) You can’t work out how to log in (email me if this is the case).
5) (Don’t own displays yet? NO excuse…you can join in with your
questions as well!)
This business is not easy, but it can be made alot easier if we all act
as a team and build. Simply log in once every couple of days, have a
read and ask/answer questions.
If you feel you don’t have time to have input, then that is a problem
within itself…because if you are starved for time, then you are the
first person that should be asking questions!!! Time is what you
can get back if you have a real go at this business.
For me, I have been at it for 4 years straight…I asked plenty of questions
and didn’t waste time ‘beating around the bush’ and ‘hoping’ something
could work in the beginning.
If your not financially where you would like to be, or your in a job…
GET TOUGH ON YOURSELF!!!
The amount of people that just make up any old excuse to do nothing
amazes me.
Imagine your over weight and you want to shed the pounds, wouldn’t
it be best if you put a picture of yourself in swimwear on the fridge door
for anyone to see? Now how fast would you work on losing that weight?
No special ‘amazing’ diet needed there!!!
Maybe you should put a big sign on your car saying “I have a JOB and can’t
even take a nice holiday”, and don’t take it off until you fix it! This would surely
remind you that you need to STEP UP right?
Create pain around your situation, this is the only way to get going fast in the
right direction (most people avoid pain). Put leverage on yourself!!!
This email is nothing more then a reminder about making money, just like the
paragraphs above are about losing weight and working for yourself.
This email may come across alittle strong. If I have induced a ‘motivating’ feeling
within you after reading this, then that’s good, otherwise the comfort zone is
where you will stay. You will get more ’shocking’ emails from me in the future…
don’t worry, I used to get PLENTY when I started. If ’shocking’ you is what it
takes to assist you to move forward, then that is what I will continue to do.
You will thank me for it one day.
Let me give you a small example:
When I was trying to make more money while working a job, the guy that got
me involved in business used to really make me mad sometimes with his
comments about how crap my financial situation was (it was my fault of course),
but I didn’t see it that way. Before to long he said “Ok, your going to speak at my
seminar infront of 100’s of people and tell them what you know about getting
motivated”. Lucky I was wearing my brown underpants that day!
I did it, and it was WAY outside my comfort zone, but once I got swarmed by
people at the lunch break, I new it was a good thing that my ‘mentor’ had
pushed me that way.
6 months later after doing these speeches many more times, I had 3 properties, a nice car
and my own aircraft (I’m a pilot).
You can do it to, and if you have already had success in life, keep going!
Use the forum and you will make money, because MONEY MAKING
ideas will flow for months and years to come!
I’m here to support you on the forum!

Hi Dean and everyone else on the Business Advertising Blog,
This is my first time doing this and feel great about it. I was always looking for something to make some extra cash and a business on my own and I think… No I mean I actually found it with Business Card Advertising. I just purchased the manual a couple of days ago and going through it has really sparked me to really jump on board as with this type of business and the team efforts on the blogs has given me a new hope. Dean has certainly has created something special here and will take full course action by purchasing the displays especially with all the great ideas that I have seen in the blogs has again made me beleive that this does and will work.
Thanks everyone.

Hi Dean,
Just finished my first reading of the manual. Thank you for all the great information. It answers a lot of the questions I have about operating the business. This Blog, with everyone’s helpful input, is an awsome support system. I am really glad that I ordered the manual.

Welcome to the blog Maryl2010!
Glad you like the forum and it will continue to grow. Others are starting to post more comments and open alittle now they can see the potential of what’s happening here.
You will see many more good ideas to come, so please check in daily if possible for any new posts in the ‘recent comments’ section and reply to as many as you can
Business card displays can be very lucrative, but without fresh ideas, you can chase your own tail sometimes. Not any more though…this forum is breaking that mould for operators worldwide.
Look forward to seeing how the business unfolds for you Mary.

Hi pfalla,
Thanks for the post, and i’m glad you enjoyed the manual!
In terms of the best displays to use, this is a personal choice that you best do your research on.
Let me just point something out to everyone on this forum…i’m not a manufacturer of business card displays….but I do have displays that I sell. I originally looked on the internet just like we all do when wanting to start a business. I started this forum based on a request from a business card display operator in the USA.
To answer your question pfalla, I ended up going with the displays that have 16 compartments because it’s small and compact, doesn’t require electricity, it locks shut, it doesn’t take up business owners floor space (which they certainly value), your advertisers message doesn’t get watered down…16 compartments has high probabilities of the customer actually reading all the different offers…which means more cards taken…which means the advertiser who is paying you will most likely re-new, easy to carry etc.
I also didn’t just go for price, because quality is important to me, and the display is the centrepiece of my reputation.
This forum is about sharing what I learn’t, and I don’t have experience with other companies displays to make tactical comments about what works best to get clients for their displays…so excuse me if you feel that I’m leaning one way with my comments throughout this forum at any stage, but as i’ve mentioned many times, this forum is open to all operators…no matter what display you feel works best. Ideas can be cross-adapted, as the concept is the same.
This forum you are reading now is going strong and only growing, and i’ll continue to grow it for everyone’s sake.
Thanks to all who read this forum, and I know everyone values your past and future comments.

Hi Dean and Everyone. I’ve being getting some great ideas out of this forum…but learning it’s important to check-in more often then every 3 days because the ideas seem to be coming in faster now to the forum. My work is taking up time, but I hope to leave soon to do this business full time.
Well what you call the “no cold calling lead generation system” is working for me…it’s alittle slow, but then again I don’t do a whole lot of driving. The best part i’ve found is that it’s teaching me how to speak to people, and they call me which is good also. I’m new to sales…and it’s been an interesting learning curve so far…but getting better.
My big news is that I have just got my third advertising deal from the system in your manual. I charged $250 for 12 months. I’ve had about 35 calls from it since i’ve started. Is a 10% conversion rate bad. what should I be aiming for?
I like the other idea about putting a a open top display just to get calls also. Thanks to who ever wrote that.

Nice work!
You are doing really well nattytude, and your posts get better each time. They are results to be proud of considering you had never sold a thing before entering this business. Ok, so you’ve made $750 is your first 6 weeks (very part time)…and you haven’t picked up the phone or been out to see anyone cold…can’t complain about that! (I’m assuming that the sales from the system in the manual are all you’ve made?).
Your conversion rate from calls to sales is fine. If you’ve seen 3 people to get three deals…then that’s perfect. How many people did you see to get the 3 deals?
Power to you nattytude, your persisting…and I hope you get to the full time stage very soon.

The Entrepreneurs Guide to Selling Business Card Displays!
That’s the exact title of a powerful book I’ve just launched today!
This is my most powerful ‘money making’ book to date.
I didn’t write a big salesletter for it, instead, I put the contents page of the manual
on my website for you…so if you like what you read, well that’s exactly what you’re
going to get…no hype.
If you sell business card displays, you have just had the whole process shortened
for you. From lead generation, right through to one-on-one power point and seminar
presentations, it’s all in the manual.
Take a look….

The car magnet business manual is great, and I look forward to making money with it. I wish I had this manual years ago.
Thanks Dean,

Wow…thanks for the great compliment Don!
The reason I put the car magnet business opportunity together was because it’s an easy way for people to eliminate their gas bills, and it’s a real simple idea that anyone who owns a car could make money with.
The other reason I put it together is because there are millions of empty car doors out on the road that can be used as advertising space…so the market is literally endless. This manual shows you exactly how to make money from these car doors right away.
Thanks again Don!
PS. I’ve now put the contents page of the manual online for everyone, so you can see exactly what’s included. www.carmagnetbusiness.com .

Dean,
I got your Car Magnet Manual 2 days ago. It is packed with info and definately worth more than you charge. Great ideas all the way through it.
Everyone else,
If you are not earning money while you are driving your car, GET THE MANUAL!
In a small way, I feel a bit like Victor Kiam, the guy that liked the razor so much he bought the company. Well sort of. Dean knows what I am talking about and I will let him clarify it if he wishes to.
Anyway, thanks again for the opportunity. You’ll be seeing me around here more often.

Glad you like it James!
We look forward to seeing you around here more often…it’s only going to get better.
I’m 100% dedicated to the growth of this blog, and I look forward to seeing new thoughts, ideas and results on the blog everyday. There are quite a few international operators who are viewing the blog now, so you should see a large cross-section of ideas as time passes. The key is for everyone to leave thoughts and feedback…the new ideas will spawn from there.
“Water the garden and watch it grow”
Thanks again James, and let us in on any marketing ideas you have!

Thanks for understanding this message, I just had to get this warning out the way given the number of people that purchase them.

I was trying to find out how to obtain your manual. Unfortunately the only link I could find - on url http://www.businesscarddisplays.info/innovative-products - gives an error message. How can I get a copy please? (DEAN HERE - THAT LINK WORKS NOW)

I bought your manual. It is fantastic. I’ve learned a lot and will learn more I’m sure. The forms are a valuable time saver. The links are great. I don’t have to spend time trying to find all that impressive information. I have talked to our town’s Mayor and Chamber President and they are excited to have this promotion in our community. Having the manual makes it easy to start the business right away and will allow me to do it right the first time! Thanks Dean for sharing your hard earned information.

Hello to everyone. First time post on this site and ready to ask a lot of questions. Not only would I like Deans’ comments but would love everyones opinions. My best work style is to take a few ideas/styles and find what I like about each and then create my own. I will start by introducing myself(I think there should be a section for this)because I plan on writing to you people quite a bit. My name is Jason Rudd, 31 years old, married with one child. I was working swingshift for the past 7years in the steel industry making what I call a decent living. March last year the company locked out the union and this went on for 1 year. During this time, my wife and I decided it was time for me to move on-so I started my own Custom Tile Installation business. I love my freedom-it has been 1 year now and I am not one of the 90% who fail, but I actually made more than I figured for that first year. My only problem is that I am doing a lot more physical work than I wish and I know I am putting a toll on my body-but I actually like what I do. In my struggles to advertise for a low rate, I stummbled upon some displays for sale. I bought them-never having seen one in my life. I had a few ideas but was desperately searching for more ideas and something to light that fire and launch me and this venture in the right direction. Thats when I fell here. No doubt I will be making many posts and often. So, with only the factory jobs and owning some rental properties, I have had no selling experience in my life. Now that I am in business for myself, Selling has become a part of my life. But, I know if someone calls me, they want Tile, now all I have to do is sell myself. I know this will be the case some of the time, but my big fear is tring to sell something to someone out of the blue and tring to convince them it will be good..yada yada. So, I have 4 displays sitting at my house, just fired up my first ever website this week(it works but not close to finished)and I am ready to get rollin! Im fired up and if/when I ever loose my flame, I want Dean and or you guys to light it back up. Thats it for now. I will be back with some ?s and look forward to this. Thanks Jason

Dean,
Thanks for the response. Although, I did’nt actually come across a card display actually in use, I still believe I will work that into my sales pitch. Good idea and I can work a story! I actually thought it was a huge plus that I have never seen a display in my area ever. We will see once I hit the scene a little harder.
OK, I have read your manual and going thru it for the second time. I am in the middle of reading every single post on this site. Sure wish I knew about the display giveaway a little sooner…Im sure I would have myself a new display(staying positve). Which brings me to a question on page 49–you say “getting mailing lists” —-is this a list of business you can obtain in your area..if so where can I obtain this?
Thanks Jason5Star

Makes sense. I just know there are a ton of small businesses out there that would(should) kill for dirt cheap advertising but you might not be able to locate them via web. Just thought you had another insight to these people.
Get use to me posting!!!
