Books You Can Read to Help Your Advertising Sales Skills
If you have read a good sales book, why not share the title with others! You can go ahead and do that right here…go on! Filling and locating business card dispensers is sales based, so any book suggestions on this topic would help!

Here is another powerful way to learn great sales skills (not average sales skills)…GREAT sales skills. Read up on NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). This will teach you how to connect very very quickly with your clients without them even knowing your doing it.
So I suggest you buy a book on NLP, or atleast search it out on the internet. People may have used this on you in the past and you don’t even know it!

I strongly recommend this book if you use the phone. “How to Sell More in Less Time with No Rejection” by Art Sobczak. It uses common sense telephone techniques that work. I read this book a couple of years ago and I subscribe to his monthly newsletter. Well worth the investment.

For me sales is simply explaining the benefits and asking for the order. How I get up and do that everyday though comes more from the inspirational books out there than from the sales technique books. The bible that everyone that wants to be successful in their life is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill. Another book I find that I read every couple years is also a corny but very, very inspirational book ant that one is “How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling” by Frank Bettger.

The best book I have read so far is more about relationships and social interaction which in turn is the best way to build a solid sales foundation. The book is by Dale Carnegie and titled “How to win friends and influence people” There are numerous examples throughout the book on how to influence people to think how you think and close sales!
Download the eBook here, I put it on my iPod and finished it in a week, you wont be able to stop! http://www.bradmills.ca/HTWFAIP.zip
