Free Advertising Offer…

Here is an email from a business card display owner in New Zealand… Any suggestions for him before I answer it?
“Hello Dean,
Sorry to intrude into your space with this email. I could not find a way to post this message on your website.
I own a Business Card display business in Auckland, New Zealand since April this year. So it is pretty new but I haven’t gone one-tenth the distance that I had planned to go in 4 months. I am a full time employee in a very demanding job. Therefore time is a big constraint. I spent a good 6 hours on your website yesterday soaking it all in. I am charged now to go and make it happen for me.
However, I have a dilemma that I would like your expert help/ opinion on. Since I cannot go out and meet people on weekdays, I have decided to go in for some marketing campaign and have leads come to me. I have 7 displays out at the moment in my area in good locations with high foot traffic. It’s the revenue generation that is a bit of a bother. There are 5 advertisers, most friends and people I know whom I have given the spots for next to nothing. Moving forward, I have decided to go in for the “FREE ADVERTISING” offer to all local businesses. Given that the displays are mostly empty, there is nothing for me to loose.
The problem I face is that I will be overses for one month starting Aug 15th. SO I am confused if I should do this fax mailer campaign now or after I return. If I do it now, I have a month on hand to sort it all out before I leave, but would it be important for me to be in town while the FREE advertising period is on? They can perhaps have 2 months free advertising since I will be back in mid – September.
On the other hand, if I do it after I come back, I would have wasted 2 more months and time that I could have not done anything anyway. Also, then it would be October and only 2 months away from X’mas.
What do I do? Should I go ahead with the 2 month Free Advertising campaign now? Please help. Is there something I am missing out on here?
