Hi everyone im starting a busines card despenser busines.but i dont think that high trafic areas are the best lacations are the best.i think it should be placed where people sit and wait like hair salons and docters waiting rooms.what do you guys think?

You bet, Doctors, Dentists, Hair salons, any waiting room you can think of. There is usually nothing else for them to do other than a selection of outdated magazines, so your business card display has their entire interest.

Hi Roedie,

Yep, you are 100% correct. It’s not about the volume of people, it’s about targetting your audience. For example, I would much prefer to have 10 people walk past and take 4 business cards, then have 300 people go by and take 3 cards!

The most important thing ALWAYS is to put yourself in the shoes of the buyer, no matter what you’re selling. In this case, think about where you personally sit and wait for things? Got your answer to that question? Locate one of your dispensers right there!

Sit down with a pad and pen and brainstorm your location ideas, then justify them with reason. You’ll find that the locations you thought would be good will actually sink to the bottom of your list… especially places like shopping malls that want money etc. It’s time to bring out the entrepreneurial thinking that sitting inside your head just waiting to be utilized!

Too many people have an ego problem, whereas they want everyone to see their business, and have their name in lights. All you need to do is take the emotion and ego out of ‘potential’ locations, and put your business card dispensers in LOGICAL locations. Just doing this will get you off to a great start with the business opportunity!
