Free Way to Promote Yourself and Your Biz Card Business

In the past i’ve posted quite a few articles about ‘multiple pillars of marketing’ to keep your business afloat. Put simply, if you are relying on one method of marketing (such as cold calling or mailing out flyers etc), then you will eventually run aground. It’s almost impossible to create a solid ‘reliable’ stream of leads by following one path only, in my opinion.
Simple way to promote yourself online… free.
One way that i’ve created leads online for myself is by writing short ‘educational’ articles… it’s free to do and takes minimal time. How can you utilise this free tool for your business?
Firstly, this website (www.ezinearticles.com) lets you put a link to your website at the bottom of the article, so what your job is, is to write about something that people can get value from, and in return you’ll get credibility for yourself and the reader will click through to your website. So what do write about?
Lets say you live in the San Fernando Valley in LA for example. I would write about 5 seperate articles (with 5 different headlines) about business card advertising is the San Fernando Valley. Please keep in mind when writing your article that the staff behind this company won’t approve your article if it sounds like a blatent advert… it needs to be ‘educational’. Remember it’s the ‘targetted’ headline that will attract the readers… like…
San Fernando Valley’s most effective advertising medium
Simple advertising ideas - San Fernando Valley
Clever Leak Generation Ideas - San Fernando Valley
etc etc.
If you can put the name of the area you operate you biz card displays into the headline, you’ll certainly attract more targetted traffic.
Me, well i’ve written numerous articles and have attracted alot of free internet traffic by using this method. This is free to do remember, so take advantage! Don’t sit there and surf the net looking busy, be proactive and go over to this website and write a simple article… get your name out there… free!
