This is one of the most basic ideas to generate leads … and if you’re not doing it, then you seriously need to consider. Simply putting car magnets on your car door can drive traffic to your website very quickly… and i’m a BIG fan of this idea.

Here’s why I have mentioned this again….
Yesterday I went for a walk down to the waters edge in the afternoon, and a car drove past me with a very eye-catching magnet on it….and I thought to myself “anyone who runs business card displays should be doing this…or any business for that matter”. Here’s what it said…
“I Do Naughty Things To Get Attention”. Guess what the website underneath the message referred to? Come on…take a guess. Yep…a dog grooming business. This lady gives haircuts to dogs.
Pretty clever hah! That was a very effective message, and I’ve always talked about this because I firmly believe it’s a wise advertising investment. Simply take them off when you park…just throw them on the front seat of the car so you remember to put them back on while driving. Imagine how many people would see your message in a traffic jam!!!

These magnets are for my customers.
Also, get this, in our area we have a
publication called ‘The Shopping Bag’
and it comes out weekly. I phoned them
to see what they charge for an ad which
is close to a business card size ad.
They quoted me $225.00 per week with
a minimum 6 month contract!! Their come
back to the cost was, it is a weekly
distribution to your town.

advertising is the way to go!

Dean,
Car magnet signs work! I have done 4 orders
so far, 2 paying and 2 to be used
as samples! I’ve found the high
impact graphics are the best. I am
now using full color graphics with
professional photos. The look “awesome”
on a black car!! The only problem
is, the site you recommend is great to
work with, but they charge more than
$60.00 for a pair (24″x12″), plus
shipping, I have found a suppler in
my area who is doing wholesale pricing
for me at $65.00 includes design and
full color graphics, and a fast turn
around time.

I just ordered a pair of magnetic signs
from Accent Graphics and paid $58.99
plus $9.00 for shipping and handling.
I see more and more of these are on
the road due to “Awareness”.
