How to Follow Up Clients if they say “NO”.

This is why you need to have a follow-up procedure as plan B. If you don’t have a follow up system, then the least you can do is send them an email when you get home saying thanks…along with a free gift. So what do you think that free gift could be? My suggestion would be an ebook (attach it to the email) that gives them different ideas about how to grow their business. For those of you who have my own personal business success book (this book is free for manual owners), you can give that out as many times as you like…it has great ideas about how others have made money in business. There are also endless books on eBay that come with re-seller rights that you could give away.

Anything you can give them that’ll help them make money will go along way towards them trusting you. Here’s what your email could say…

SUBJECT LINE: Quickest way to build a business

Hi John,

Thanks for the meeting today, you’ve got a great little business and I hope that you will consider promoting it through my business card displays sometime into the future.

In the meantime, i’ve attached a great little book that is full of ideas on how you could grow your business. In particular, the strategy on page 37 made me think of your business.

It’s really not hard to give something for free! You could also send them any testimonials or other business ideas you get along the way.

As a 2nd follow up email, you could say…

Hi John,

Hope all is going well!

Very quickly, I came across this business building idea and thought you would get a good laugh from it…and some inspiration at the same time! It’s a great idea and the guy is making alot of money from it.

Very simple – Very effective. Follow up with free valuable info and you’ll get their trust eventually! Persistance pays.
