Hi Dustin,

Yes... I certainly agree the advertising rates should increase. The only thing I would say is to wait until you really feel you can justify the rate hike in a convincing manner. These type of increases will only REALLY work with ease if results are being achieved.

The best part is the confidence you'll get when the displays start cranking. Initally when you begin you don't have a solid foundation to work with in terms of results, so you need to do deals and just get your displays filled however you can. From that point your confidence, motivation, advertising rates, display network and your business in general will rise to a whole new level. Just persist to this level first and the rest should take care of itself.

All good!

This is great Idea Dustin ..no wonder why you couldnt sleep till 3am :)

About (2nd - If an advertiser decides not to honor the offer and fails to give the new customer a gift card… ) I dont think this will be your problem .. but to be in the safe side you can always add in fine print " Freecard are not responesable about the contents of this offer? or somthing like that !

Fahd, Thanks for the suggestion regarding what to print on the back of the cards. Makes good sense.

I've gone with a slightly different angle in my business. If you go to the post dated June 11th, "Photo of
business card display at a fuel pump," you'll see what I mean.

Should have my 12th location secured in the next couple of days. Location owners like the idea, and most are happy to host a display.

I'll keep in touch through this forum as I make further progress.

Regards,
Dustin
