Test Idea that Made Me $59.91 in 40mins, on the first attempt!
There’s nothing like testing something for the first time and it works… here’s what I did:
I tested an offline advertising idea on the weekend to sell one of my online ebooks, and it worked an absolute treat (you should try this…I’ll give you the tools)… and the best part is I could do it hour after hour and potentially make $200-$300 per day without speaking to anyone, and never ever run out of people! The total cost of the project was only $2.50!
The ebook I’ve already written about ‘how to make money by renting out your car door as advertising space’ has such massive potential, that I had to test a new low cost idea other than just selling on this website. So what I did is I wrote a small quarter page ad in word (A4 size) and then ‘copy and pasted’ the ad onto the page to fill it up, so 4 ads fit on each A4 page. The ad copy I wrote was catchy and simple, because I had limited room to work with.
I then went and got 100 black and white A4 photocopies printed, and got the printer to cut them up into quarters with her paper cutter machine at the print shop. Total cost was $10 and I had 400 flyers ready to go.
Next I went for a walk around the streets and put one flyer on each parked car until 100 were handed out. It took an average of 25 seconds per car… so 40mins in total. It took only 2 days and there was a total of 3 sales from it! That added up to $59.91 for a 40 minute walk! Now I know I can make money every time I go walking… and I’ve got an idea that will get an even higher conversion rate. I plan to go walking on Sunday with my wife and literally walk up to people that are sitting down relaxing in the park and hand it to them directly… you know how there’s not much to do while sitting in a park, well i’m sure that 99% of people will read it because it’s a short punchy ad with my website at the end of it (www.carmagnetbusiness.com) . I didn’t get fancy with the ad copy at all.
So there you have a simple idea that worked! Now….
There are millions upon millions of cars in every country, so what I thought I would do is offer you the re-seller rights to the manual AND the exact flyer I used. If you don’t have a website, that’s fine, all you would do is put your email address at the bottom of the flyer and then send them the ebook that way, and charge whatever price you like. So I made $59.91 in 40mins… you can now do it part time/full time also… just hand them out anytime you go walking… day or night on cars & in letterboxes etc. Simple money in my opinion
