The Friday Section - Various LOCATING Results For This Week
The idea in this sections is for everone to note their progress at the end of the week for getting locations with their business card displays. This will help to increase belief about the concept in general, especially for those who may be struggling to get the business off the ground.

Hi Everyone,
This email goes out to those who has a copy of my manual.
I have written this message just for you this morning, so take
2 minutes now to read it…hopefully you will get the
message behind it.
Let me get right to the point here.
I AM SHOCKED AT THE LACK OF INPUT ON THE FORUM
FROM MOST OF YOU!
This can only come down to a few reasons why you wouldn’t use it:
1) You have a thriving business and know everything there is to know
2) You aren’t really that motivated to make money with this business
3) Your a ‘taker’ and not a ‘giver’.
4) You can’t work out how to log in (email me if this is the case).
5) (Don’t own displays yet? NO excuse…you can join in with your
questions as well!)
This business is not easy, but it can be made alot easier if we all act
as a team and build. Simply log in once every couple of days, have a
read and ask/answer questions.
If you feel you don’t have time to have input, then that is a problem
within itself…because if you are starved for time, then you are the
first person that should be asking questions!!! Time is what you
can get back if you have a real go at this business.
For me, I have been at it for 4 years straight…I asked plenty of questions
and didn’t waste time ‘beating around the bush’ and ‘hoping’ something
could work in the beginning.
If your not financially where you would like to be, or your in a job…
GET TOUGH ON YOURSELF!!!
The amount of people that just make up any old excuse to do nothing
amazes me.
Imagine your over weight and you want to shed the pounds, wouldn’t
it be best if you put a picture of yourself in swimwear on the fridge door
for anyone to see? Now how fast would you work on losing that weight?
No special ‘amazing’ diet needed there!!!
Maybe you should put a big sign on your car saying “I have a JOB and can’t
even take a nice holiday”, and don’t take it off until you fix it! This would surely
remind you that you need to STEP UP right?
Create pain around your situation, this is the only way to get going fast in the
right direction (most people avoid pain). Put leverage on yourself!!!
This email is nothing more then a reminder about making money, just like the
paragraphs above are about losing weight and working for yourself.
This email may come across alittle strong. If I have induced a ‘motivating’ feeling
within you after reading this, then that’s good, otherwise the comfort zone is
where you will stay. You will get more ’shocking’ emails from me in the future…
don’t worry, I used to get PLENTY when I started. If ’shocking’ you is what it
takes to assist you to move forward, then that is what I will continue to do.
You will thank me for it one day.
Let me give you a small example:
When I was trying to make more money while working a job, the guy that got
me involved in business used to really make me mad sometimes with his
comments about how crap my financial situation was (it was my fault of course),
but I didn’t see it that way. Before to long he said “Ok, your going to speak at my
seminar infront of 100’s of people and tell them what you know about getting
motivated”. Lucky I was wearing my brown underpants that day!
I did it, and it was WAY outside my comfort zone, but once I got swarmed by
people at the lunch break, I new it was a good thing that my ‘mentor’ had
pushed me that way.
6 months later after doing these speeches many more times, I had 3 properties, a nice car
and my own aircraft (I’m a pilot).
You can do it to, and if you have already had success in life, keep going!
Use the forum and you will make money, because MONEY MAKING
ideas will flow for months and years to come!
I’m here to support you on the forum!

Thank you for including me into the forum. It seems as if it’s really going to take off now that fresh ideas are flowing. I have not started my business yet, however, iIcan see that this forum will be invaluable.
Thanks in advance

Great work, now that is what I call ‘raising the bar!’
It’s great to hear that the business card displays are serving you well, after all, that is the plan from the get go…. but it’s takes motivation action to execute a plan. So are you going to come back from Myrtle Beach with more deals?
This reminds me of an interview that I watched on TV. They were interviewing a professional tennis player about what happens internally when he face Roger Federer on the tennis court. He replied “It makes me step up to another level in my game”. And this is something I know I can relate to, especially in business!
Have you ever felt that feeling when you meet face to face with someone that is better then you at whatever it is your doing, and you feel your game naturally rise? (This isn’t just sport i’m talking about).
I certainly have! When we used to do seminars a few years ago, I was by far the least confident of the guys who I was sharing the stage with. Don’t get me wrong, I knew my stuff and had results, but it was the ’stage fright’ that was getting the better of me. So what I did was got really annoyed with myself, and did whatever it took to get up to the level of the other guys. I recorded myself on camera, then compared myself and my body language with Tony Robbins…yep, watched the best and copied!
Now I didn’t get anywhere near his level obviously, but it did raise my game to a point where just two months later, I was getting awesome feedback and participation from audiences up to 350 people.
So Dave, you are leading the ‘business card display board’ race so far…and it is to everyone’s benefit for a couple of reasons…
1) It shows that it’s possible…which is great for everyones confidence
2) It will raise everyone elses game and gives other operators a target to chase down.
So you’re a moving target now Dave! (for a good reason of course!)
Anyone like to give us a snapshot of their results or progress for the week?

I’m writing this entry on behalf of KATTIA in the USA.
Kattia doesn’t really write in english and has been alittle hesitant to blog, this is understandable. Here mother tounge is Spanish.
When Kattia first ordered her business card displays, it took us quite a few emails to get order in place (due to my lack of Spanish and her broken english)..but we got there in the end.
I didn’t know she was a ‘diamond in the rough’ when I first spoke to her…until a phone call last night asking to order more displays. I nearly jumped out of my seat when I heard that message come down the phone!!!
So my natural question was…what did you do with your other display boards your ordered in such a short period of time??? And after a few minutes, I understood that she approached a small supermarket owner (Spanish speaking), and ended up getting 8 confirmed locations…the guy owned 8 stores and loved the business card dispenser!!!
I’ll find out more as I speak to her further, but as you can imagine, the conversation doesn’t exactly flow. But no problem, she reads this blog and is learning lots…but it just takes her alittle more time to read it she says.
So…GREAT JOB KATTIA! Ring me when you want to share how you did it with us and i’ll pass it on to the everyone!

Hi Dean
I placed one of the displays in a restaurant and I offered a percentage of the earnings.
I have 29 units to place now and I am looking for locations.
I wonder if it’s better to offer free advertising in another location, pay rent for the space (how much should I pay for rent I have no idea) or offer partnership.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Dean
I just got a nice location. This is Priority Print plus store.
The location owner is very happy to host the display. I will print business card throught him. Also He told me that He will give me a discount of 40 % on the printing material for my advertisers. This way, I will be able to offer printing services to the advertisers.

ONE DAY 5 LOCATIONS PLUS LEARNED A NEW TRICK!
Great site! I am Brad from North Carolina. I bought 5 of the larger displays. Last week Friday I closed my Medical company earlier than I normally do on Fridays which was about 10:30 am, and started driving down our busiest business streets.
Some objections I had was “We do not have the room”. I found out that taking a tape measure with you can give you the advantage. One of my ears did not hear when they said they had no room. I immediately took out my tape measure after looking around the room for an ideal place.
Well after measuring an ideal spot and telling them where to put it, I had a very interesting outcome. This technique landed me 3 locations that started out as “No Room” to ” Let’s try it for a month or so” I got back to my house it was 4:45 pm and I had all 5 located with signed location agreements from the owners.
Here are the locations I landed.
1. Women Clothing Store. Used my tape measure technique on them.
2. Golden China restaurant w/ a very nice sitting area
3. Trucks they sell all new parts. Used my tape measure technique on them.
4. Car Lot that sells Foreign cars including Bentleys very nice!
5. Health Food store. Used my tape measure technique on them.

Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would post my progress up to this point. Starting January 8th I’ve tied up the following locations: 3 oil change locations(one owner-he’s real excited), 1 smaller but very busy meat market/small grocery, 2 pizza restaurants(very excited), and today it looks like 3 major grocery stores.
For the grocery stores I took a copy of the photo of Cesar’s 2 units on the community board in with me. 2 of the 3 decision makers were there and both said yes, they just need to run it by the third owner. Both really liked the unit(which I also took in with me) and thought it was pretty cool. I wasn’t sure if I should approach such a major location yet but I’m sure glad I did. I know it will make securing the other units in these 3 towns much easier.
Will be in touch.
